Who is this form for?

The Suzuki teacher development program offers instruction and expert guidance for the novice as well as the experienced Suzuki teacher. All levels are welcome! Teacher training courses are taught by teacher trainers certified by the Suzuki Association of the Americas.

At FSI 2025 we are offering Teaching Strategies and Violin Unit 3 Teacher Training.

Training: Teaching Strategies
Dates: Tuesday May 27 – Friday May 30, 2025
Fees: Registration $75 nonrefundable; Course $300

Training: Violin Unit 3 Teacher Training*
Dates: Friday May 30 – Tuesday June 3, 2025
Fees: Registration $100 nonrefundable; Course $415
*Teaching Strategies is a prerequisite to the Violin Unit 3 Teacher Training.

Class Size: maximum of 15.
15 hours of instruction and 8 hours of observation per unit.
Books 1, 2, and 3 must be taken in order.
Participants must pass the SAA audition prior to registration.
SAA membership must be current prior to the course beginning.
